Pandora’s breakthrough hit Trust Me is trending on TikTok again. The song has reached 35 million streams on Spotify and is currently streaming faster than ever. Pandora herself has now surpassed over 600 000 monthly listeners on the platform.
The latest trend started when an international influencer posted a Trust Me dance that went viral. Trust Me has now taken off on TikTok twice. The first time was in 2024 when German car enthusiasts started creating videos to the song.
“I get flashbacks to when my career started. As an artist, it’s amazing to see how a song I released over 30 years ago gets a new life like this and connects with a new generation. The TikTok audience is even around the same age as my main fanbase was back in the ‘90s,” Pandora shares.
Trust Me became an instant hit after its release in October 1993. The song peaked at #3 in Sweden, earned gold certification and became the country’s best-selling single of the year. It reached #2 in Finland, placed in the top 10 in Norway and Denmark, and charted at #28 on the European Hot 100 Singles. Beyond Europe, it made the top 5 in Israel and charted in Australia. In 2006, the song returned to the charts with a United DJs remix, peaking at #2 in Sweden.
Over the years, Pandora has released 12 studio albums, sold over 6 million records worldwide, and earned 21 gold and platinum certifications across three continents. She remains one of Sweden’s best-selling solo artists of all time.
“I’m extremely thankful for a chance to be part of people’s lives through my music in so many countries. It’s a beautiful gift,” Pandora says.
