November - December

Hi again.

Recordings
Most of the songs are now recorded, so the next step will be to mix them. We've done most of the recordings for the first time in my own studio. It's very convenient when it's situated 50 meters from my house.

The new album, ""A Little Closer"". Release date 21st of February 2001 in Japan
I have been extremely busy finishing the album this past three months, and especially in November and December. It's much more work now when we have our own label. But it's fun too. This album contains twelve tracks. Five songs are produced by Mats Nyman and seven are produced by Kee Marcello. One of them is written by, for me a new guy called Tomas Jansson and his friend Leif Sundin. I've been co-writing two songs together with Kee and Daniel Papalexis.

Duet
The most interesting collaboration, in my opinion on this record, is a duet between Eric Martin and I. For those who don't know Eric I can tell you that he is the singer of an American rock band called Mr. Big. I've been admiring him for a long time and it's an honour for me that we do this song together. It's called ""Every Second Beat"" and it's written by Kee Marcello. It's a mid-tempo pop song. Very powerful!

Album artwork
The photosession took place in Stockholm. We were shooting both outside and inside. I'm proud to tell that I did an outside shooting in Sweden in November! Some of the pictures were shot in the beautiful Royal Park called Drottingholm. My style is inspired of the siren of the woods, with my long hair and a very nature inspired outfit. It's a cool contrast to the music. You will soon be able to see the new pictures under ""photos"".

Others. . .
I've spent Christmas at home with the whole family. At New Years we had our traditional New Years party in our house as usual. It has become a tradition to celebrate at home with all our friends. They use to arrive at lunchtime so we have enough time to chat and drink hot red vine called ""glögg"" in front of the fireplace. That's something we always drink for Christmas in Sweden. Then we cook for hours together. This year some new found friends from a gospel choir I just joined came, and we performed gospels together. That was great fun!

September-October
Hi all.
Sorry for having kept you waiting. Here's a resumé for the last two months.

Recordings
Most of the songs are now recorded, so the next step will be to mix them. We've done most of the recordings for the first time in my own studio. It's very convenient when it's situated 50 meters from my house.

As usual it's very difficult to explain the sound/style on this album in words, but I'm pretty sure I will not disappoint anyone who likes the diversity of Pandora's music!

At the moment I'm about to put together a photo session for this new album. I want to try a more outstanding look this time. Show another side of Pandora.

Good News
The biggest news this month is the new web shop where you can buy the album "No Regrets" directly from me! Please check it out! Very soon I will update it with some merchandise like posters, jackets and t-shirts. Please share your opinions and ideas about the shop with me.


Bad News
Mr. "hacker" broke in to my homepage this Saturday the 14th and wrote a little message for me. On Sunday the whole website was gone! I don't know if any of you noticed that; if you did you know what happened. Anyway, everything is now back to order.


I'm preparing myself mentally and physically for this album and what comes along with it, by taking long walks in the big forest that surround our house. Unfortunately it's the period for elk hunting so I have to be careful. I might look like an elk from a long distance, (maybe if you look real close to, I'm not sure. Laughs!) The elk hunters actually rent a building next too my house, to have coffee breaks and to take care of the meat. I can see it all from my kitchen window. It's not very fun to see, believe me. If I could decide I would let "the king of the Swedish forest" rule in their own territory. They're so beautiful.

Hi everyone! Feel free to read my diary. Written in my own words as usual.

Acting?
First, I will tell you about a movie I took part in. It’s called "Livet är en schlager" ("Life as a schlager"). It’s written by a famous Swedish author and comedian called Jonas Gardell. I did it just for the fun of it and you will probably not even see me because it's only a minor part, but my point was to learn something about film. It is actually very exhausting! Much worse than being in a studio for months! I really respect actors much more now when I know a little more what it’s all about.

Party
I was invited to the big OKEY day in Stockholm the 13th of August. It’s a Swedish youth magazine’s yearly event. They had this after party where they served great food and live music. Hardcore Superstar and The Moffats performed. Later on it was a kind of jam session when anyone who felt like it could go up on stage and sing. I had to do it of course, but together with Mia and Urban from Rednex and Jocke, the singer from Hardcore Superstar. It was fun.

Popkomm
I went to the big Popkomm convention in Cologne in Germany for three days. Just to check what it was all about. I met with some old friends there, which was fun. And guess what? I saw the Moffats perform again. They did a great live performance even though the sound wasn’t too good, but you could still hear that are professionals even though they are still quite young. A friend of mine is the President of a big record company and he held a release party for the guys. They do well with their new single written by my friend and songwriter Kee Marcello! The music world is small.

No Regrets
Anyway I found out from my old company Universal that they will not release "No Regrets" neither in Australia nor Finland. Too bad, but I am now checking out if I can sell the album via my homepage. It should not be impossible. It might just take some time, as always in this industry. I will tell you more about this when I know for sure, but if you are interested you can always tell me now already, so I can contact you directly.

New album
I have now recorded some new songs with Mats Nyman for my next album. I’ll go to Göteborg this week to record some songs with Kee Marcello and Kurt Sahlén. Next week I will probably start working with a for me, new songwriter in Stockholm. He is very good and he will definitely bring some new blood into my music.

Some news
I am emasculating an old dream of mine. The fact is, that I am taking driving lessons for a MOTORCYCLE!! It is so fun and quite difficult too. I sometimes drive my little sisters Suzuki 650 but unfortunately I crashed the bike this Friday. It wasn’t a big accident but my ass hurts like hell! I think I got a balance problem? But, I won’t give up that easy, no way!

Last...
It looks like the "Kylie war" is over. I did my best to explain everything and I got some great reactions on that, which feels good of course. I just feel sorry for that idiot who used my name and said these very stupid things on her homepage. What goes around, comes around...

July
First and most important of all is my wedding! Patrick and I got married on the 30th of April.

It was a warm and beautiful day and I cried most of the time. Getting married is an indescribable feeling! I had a light blue wedding dress made of lace and Thai silk and a half long veil with small stones in it.


We got married in Church Malma 40 km south of Vasteras. The party was located at Kohlswa Herrgard. The wedding cake was four floors high with a frog couple in marzipan on top. The frog bride had big red lips and she was singing in a microphone to her loving groom. All around the cake there were small frog babies playing different instruments!! Why frogs you might think? Because I have a bad frog phobia since I was a child. For that reason people always tend to give me frogs as birthday presents and for every reason they can think of. This was a kind of revenge from my side. Look, I am not afraid anymore! Yeah right...

A week after the wedding we went with some friends to Florida for about two weeks. We visited Disney World and Epcot Centre of course and Orlando City, Universal City Walk and Clearwater Beach, outside Tampa. We had such a great time there!

I have finally started with my motorcycle license! At least the driving part, which is also the funniest part. My little sister has soon finished her license so I practice when she does. She has a Suzuki 650. She has named her Gullan because she is yellow. "Gul" means yellow in Swedish. I also drove a Harley Davidson the other day. That is my favorite bike of all!

Another one of my hobbies is gardening, especially Japanese Zen Buddhism gardens. I am also interested in Feng Shui for gardens so I do my best to make the energy flow there. (It’s not that easy). I’ve noticed that Feng Shui is quite similar to Chi Gong, which I practice. It also has to do with making the energy flow free and natural.

I am about to record another album (Nr 7). This one will contain some surprises that I can’t tell you yet, but it won’t take too long. If you have any ideas how to make this album, please feel free to tell me.

Hello friends,
It’s time again to tell you some news about myself. This time I’ve really got some great things going on!

European release!?
We are negotiating with a major record label about releasing the new album in Europe!
Hopefully I will be back in this part of the world very soon... Can’t tell you more at the moment, but I’ll keep you posted!

Everyday life
I spend my days working in my office. At the moment I’m just waiting for the release in Japan. I’m very excited as always!

Yesterday I bought my own MC leatherpants and jacket! I’m so happy about it. I can’t wait for the spring to come so that I can start driving again. I’m also going to buy my own bike. I believe it will work as an incentive if I already have the bike, then I have to hurry up taking the license.

As I told you briefly in my last entry I’ve just joined a gospel choir. I used to sing gospel many years ago and that’s something I really like to do. We will perform in a jail soon. That is going to be interesting in many different ways. I thought for a long time that Pandora can’t do this and Pandora can’t do that. Now, I’ve realized that I need to do private things outside my artist life. It’s also good vocal training since I never practice that, (even though I should). I guess I’m too lazy!

Others. . .
I’m planning to go to the Grammy Awards this year (the 19th of February). I didn’t go the last time so I’m really looking forward to it. It’s the biggest party of the year. Can’t miss that!
